Customer Service Representative Associate, Bedford, TX

Kelly Services is currently seeking Customer Service Representative Associate for one of our top health insurance clients in Bedford, TX .

Projected Duration : 10/23/2017 – 01/20/2018

Type : Contract

Hours:

  • Training Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am until 5pm;

  • Main Schedule Options: 8:00 am - 5pm, 8:30am - 5:30pm, 9am - 6pm and 11:30 am - 8pm

  • Scheduled for eight hour shifts with two fifteen-minute breaks and a thirty-minute lunch.

Pay: $13.50/hr

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school education or GED, college degree in related discipline preferred

  • At least one year of call center/customer service experience.

  • Have the ability to sit/stand in a cubicle utilizing a computer and phone for the duration of their daily shift.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with senior administration, staff and general public.

  • Ability to talk to a caller and research and/or type documentation of the conversation at the same time.

  • Ability to use online (internal and external) resources to handle calls while meeting guidelines and maintain a 90% call quality score.

  • Are expected to have schedule the majority of their time away from the office and keep unscheduled time off at a minimum. Attendance is evaluated daily and not meeting the company expectations will result in early termination of the assignment.

  • May be asked to assist with training initiatives, special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Managed Care Knowledge is preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities include:

  • The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will answer inbound calls from Texas Medicaid/Medicare members, Providers, and external vendors with a willingness to help and care for the health of our members.

  • The CSR will answer questions pertaining to benefit information, claim status, medical authorizations, health plan documents, appeals and complaints process and product information.

  • There is minimal scripting to assist in the flow of the calls so the CSR is expected to use critical thinking, customer service skills, and research to resolve the issue in one call.

  • All calls are recorded.
